What are cookies?

A cookie is a small data file, usually, a text file, consisting of letters and numbers stored on your device and used by the site to send the browser information to its browser in that browser and enable the browser to send information to the original web page (for example, a session ID number, a language selector or date).

Cookies, during their validity, keep in mind that the browser has visited certain web pages on the website or that the browser repeatedly visited the same website later.

Cookies are stored in your browser memory and are usually saved in each of the following:

  • The name of the server from which the cookie was sent.
  • Cookie expiration date;
  • A cookie tag is usually a unique number, randomly selected by the system.

The Internet server that downloads this cookie uses this number to recognize you when you return to the site or browse through its web pages. Only the cookie sender can read or change the information contained therein.

Types and classifications of cookies

There are two types of cookies, called "temporary" or "regular":

  • The so-called "temporary" cookies allow websites to link your actions during the browsing session. These "temporary" cookies disappear immediately after the browsing session ends and are no longer stored in long-term memory.
  • The so-called "regular" cookies are stored on your computer and persist between browsing sessions, allowing you to save your choices or actions performed on that site (or in some cases on other websites) in memory.

"Permanent" cookies can be used for various purposes, for example, in order to memorize your choices using this site.

Cookies can also be categorized under the following categories: "internal cookies" - the website you are browsing and "third-party cookies" are used by another website you do not care about.

Cookie management

With your browser settings, you can control cookies. If most web browser settings are default and accept cookies, you have the option, if you wish, to accept all cookies, or reject them systematically, or select the ones you accept. You can also set your browser settings so that you accept or reject cookies in each case before they are saved to your device. You can also periodically remove cookies from your device with your browser's help.

The use of cookies or similar technologies on third-party websites that publish ads for promotional content is governed by the privacy policies of their own cookies.

For configuring cookies and setting your options, each browser configuration is different. In the browser's help menu, you'll find a description of this configuration, which lets you know how to change your preferences for cookies.

However, we inform you that by setting your browser settings to disable cookies, certain website features, web pages or spaces will no longer be available to you, which will not be the responsibility of the site's manager.

How to configure cookie settings in browsers?

You can control cookies through the browser settings you use, choosing which cookies you want to accept and delete. You can refuse cookies at any time by deleting cookies from your browser in which they are installed. The cookie management location depends on the browser you are using. To learn more about how to manage or remove cookies installed in your browser, visit the browser on your browser or view the brief guide for the most popular browsers here: Chrome; Mozilla, Edge; Safari; Opera.

It's important to know that using the site to refuse technical, functional, and analytical cookies will not be possible, so we do not recommend deleting or blocking cookies.
